Launch Site Details & Rules
Our launch site is located in Elizabethtown, KY. It features a large, open field suitable for all rocket sizes up to L-Class motors, with designated safety zones and ample parking for members and visitors.
The site is accessible via Hutcherson Ln and Grace Peak Rd. Follow the route above to the Bluegrass Rocketry Society parking area. Do not use the land owners driveway. Please park responsibly on the gravel and avoid blocking entry points to ensure smooth access for all members and visitors. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS! DO NOT SPEED!
Our current waiver stands at 7000′ AGL (weather permitting) for up to and including L-Class motors.
Our launch site is only available due to the generosity of the landowner. Please respect the property at all times.
Members are encouraged to review the site rules and safety guidelines linked at the top of the page before each launch. Facilities include a graveled prep area, low, mid, and high power launch pads, and spectator zones to ensure a great experience for everyone.
